Ella Sweeps to F125 Superkart Championship Lead

Ella Stevens took the lead in the F125 Superkart Championship this weekend at Anglesey.

The female racer making headlines in Gearbox Karting, made her trip to North Wales - this time racing in the F125 Superkart Championship, a part campaign Ella is racing alongside her KZ2 British Championship Season.

Qualifying saw Ella set the 2nd Fastest time in her class - just 0.004s off pole position!

Race 1 took place on the Saturday 2nd June - where Ella secured P3 in the race, setting the fastest lap in her class in the process to start the weekend off on a positive note!

The second race of the weekend would see Ella maximise that pace she showed in Race 1 - as she came through to secure victory by almost 10 seconds from her nearest rival in the F125 class, once again setting the fastest lap on her way to her first F125 Superkart Class Victory!

The third and final race, would see Ella once again convert into a P2 finish with fastest lap in class - completing a trio of visits to the podium over the course of the weekend and taking a trophy home for each step on the podium, after a very successful weekend.

Ella's consistency and podium sweep means she now leads the F125 Superkart Championship!
This now means she is currently top of the standings in both the KZ2 British Championship and the F125 Superkart Championship after an excellent start to her 2023 campaigns!

The next round Ella will be racing in F125 will be at Snetterton on the 19-20 August, due to a couple of calendar clashes with the KZ2 British Championship and the Shenington Superprix in KZ2.
