Heading into the final rounds of the Wera Tools British KZ2 Championship, Ella was right in contention at the top of the standings - especially with dropped scores being taken into account.
Testing saw Ella threatening the top of the timesheets, being the fastest driver in two of the practice sessions before heading into Qualifying on Saturday for the first of the double-header rounds.
Ella set the fastest time in Qualifying, giving her pole position for the two heats on Saturday.
She made a great start in Heat 1 to hold her lead and withstood consistent pressure through the race - crossing the line to win the opening race of the weekend.
Heat 2 was more combative, but Ella held her own well and managed to cross the line a strong P2 at the chequered flag - earning herself pole position for the first Final of the weekend.
Before the start of the Final, rain had fallen briefing - leaving a damp circuit, especially on the 'International Hill' section where only the KZ2 driver's use. This would make for some very treacherous conditions on the fastest circuit of the year.
Ella led the opening laps, but soon came under pressure as she was the one leading the driver's into the unknown. She initially was pushed back to P6 - but once settled, she recovered well to a strong P5 at the chequered flag - securing a really strong set of championship points over the first day of race action.
Sunday saw Ella once again excel in Qualifying - taking another Pole Position to give herself the best possible starting place for the final races of the season.
A difficult start in Heat 1 saw Ella drop to P4, but she managed to recover to P3 in the opening heat, before taking another solid P3 in the second heat of the day - giving herself a second row start for the Final in P3.
Ella held P4 in the early stages of the Final, as the field bunched up in the fight for victory and the podium. Ella has to deal with early race defensive driving for a rival infront - which dented her progress as overtaking oppourtunities were limited - especially as the rain fell with 3 minutes to go!
Ella managed to navigate the tricky conditions to bring it home in P4 at the finish, just missing out on a podium - but secured P3 overall in the Wera Tool British KZ2 Karting Championship.
The Jade Karts racer took over half of the pole positions during the season ,once again showed the incredible pace Ella has and finishing in the Top-3 was a great result to go alongside her English KZ2 Championship success earlier in the season.
Ella's 2025 season plans are yet to be confirmed, but she will be rounded out her season with Club Meetings at Kimbolton and Shenington to finish the 2024 Season.
